Popular Nigerian singer and music legend, Innocent Idibia, popularly known as Tuface or 2Baba, has confirmed that he and his wife Annie Idibia are separated and currently in the process of a divorce.
In an initial post, which went viral, Tuface reportedly announced that he and his wife, actress Annie Macaulay-Idibia, had been separated for a while and were in the process of filing for divorce.
The statement, addressed to his fans, promised a forthcoming press release to provide details about his side of the story.
“Not because it is anyone’s right to know about my personal life, but because I love my people, and I need them to know my innocence or offense,” the post read.
However, shortly after the post gained traction, another statement was released from the same Instagram account.
This time, Tuface denied any involvement with the earlier post, claiming that his account had been hacked.
“Efforts are being carried out to take back control,” he wrote, ending the message with the hashtag #onelove.
However, in a final twist of event the singer released a video confirming his separation from Annie which have left fans devastated.
