A video clip, which surfaced online on Friday, captured the pair browsing through hair items together.
This development follows growing concerns from 2Baba’s family regarding his recent absence.
Reports indicate that his family filed a petition with the Department of State Services (DSS), alleging that the artist had been missing.
Additionally, his mother, Mrs Rose Idibia, made a public appeal to Ms Osawaru, urging her to distance herself from 2Baba, particularly as his divorce proceedings with his estranged wife, Annie Idibia, remain unresolved.
In her statement, Mrs Idibia expressed concern over her son’s wellbeing, stating, “My son is currently not himself. I am appealing to Ms Natasha Osawaru to remove the beads she placed on his hand and neck and allow him to be free.”
Meanwhile, on Thursday, 2Baba proposed to Ms Osawaru in the presence of close friends.
A widely circulated video shows the couple celebrating indoors, with 2Baba performing a song before presenting an engagement ring to the lawmaker.
Ms Natasha Osawaru is a graduate of Igbinedion University, Edo State, and holds a Master’s degree in Film Production from Full Sail University, USA.
