Nigerian President, Muhammadu Buhari is on his way to the United Kingdom for his usual medical check up.
This was made known by the Special Adviser to the President on Media and Publicity, Femi Adesina, who said the president would return by the second week of of November.
He tweeted:
“President Buhari leaves for London October 31, 2022, for routine medical checkup. He returns to the country 2nd week of November, 2022,”

The President’s medical retreat is a common occurrence in his administration and dates back to the start of his rule in 2015.
The President, who returned last Friday from a six-day official visit to Seoul, the capital of South Korea, departed for the United Kingdom after presiding over an “emergency” meeting of National Security Council (NSC) at the State House, Abuja.
He is expected back in the county by the 2nd week of November, 2022 with no fixed date set.
