If not for your father Fela, nobody knows you – Peter Okoye blasts Seun Kuti for criticizing him over Peter Obi

One half of the P-Square group, Peter Okoye aka Mr. P has blasted musician Seun Kuti, in a continued back and forth over political support in the 2023 elections.

Trouble had started when Seun referred to Peter Obi as an opportunist. Peter had rushed to the former Governor’s defense triggering a back and forth which led to Seun accusing the twins of campaigning for Buhari.

Peter Okoye had said Seun was not relevant and only known because of his legend of a father Fela Kuti.

He wrote:

Dude, understand your frustration. But realize that the sky is big enough for all birds to fly. @burnaboy and other great artistes have climbed on our great Fela’s ladder to blow.
Comport your self and pray to your god. My God has blessed my destiny & i’ll 4ever remain thankful.
I’ll surely keep you in my prayers. Learn from your nephew @Madekuti cos he is well guided and clean.
Fella’s songs were antigovernment but radios played them. The bitterness is obvious.
This continued bashing and shouting will not solve the problem. If you believe you know the solution of Nigeria, why not run for office? Stop hating on people’s lives. how is it PSQUARE’S fault dat ur music isn’t on air? Stop looking for excuses! If you are not excelling or maybe making music is not your thing, do yourself a favor and change career.

We “PSQUARE” have never ever campaigned for any Presidential candidates before except now for PETER OBI. Did we perform for President Buhari during his inauguration in 2015
