Popular South African rapper Kieran Forbes, popularly known as AKA, has reportedly been shot and killed on Florida Road in Durban, KZN.

Reports have begun to circulate of the rapper’s demise as they indicate a struggle had begun and led to shots being fired.

The rapper was shot at point blank range by a gunman and was pronouced dead on the spot

The show where AKA was poised to perform has been announce canceled by the organizers meanwhile, AKA’s manager has reportedly posted on his status that people should stop calling him.

Fellow SA rapper and artiste Da Les lends more credence to the reports as he expressed sadness via his Twitter page.

Though the Police have revealed its investigating the murder, no suspect has been named yet.
