A lecturer at the Federal University, Oye-Ekiti, FUOYE, is set to attempt to break the Guinness world record for the longest lecture.
This was disclosed by a blog of the campus which revealed that the computer science lecturer would be seeking to break the current 150 hour record.
The event has been tagged ACA-A-THON and has seen students of the university supporting one of their own on the journey to make a difference.
There have also been other reactions to the attempt with Nigerians wondering when the record-breaking craze will end.
The blog wrote:
The computer science lecturer at Federal University, Oye-Ekiti is organizing the ACA-A-THON event with the aim of surpassing Guinness World Record for the longest duration of lecturing, which is currently set at 150 hours.
