Popular Nigerian street hop musician Mohbad has died at just 27 years of age.
Popular Nigerian street hop singer Ilerioluwa Oladimeji Aloba aka Mohbad is dead, Dockaysworld can confirm.
The former Marlian Music signee is reported to have passed away on 12th of September, 2023.
News of his passing broke out late in the evening with fans and followers expressing their sadness and grief at the sudden death.
Dockaysworld gathered that the singer had gone to the hospital to treat an ear infection where he was subsequently given an injection.
He reportedly passed out some moments after the injection and never woke up.
Mohbad who was born on 8 June, 1996 was only 27 years old as at the time of his passing.
Mohbad’s closest colleagues and music industry friends are yet to react to the news with reports stating that many are uninformed while others are in shock.
Mohbad was from Lagos. He was formerly signed to Naira Marley‘s “Marlian Records” and left the label in 2022. Recall the artiste had alleged that he was assaulted for wanting a different agent.
Naira Marley had accused mohbad of being addicted to hard drugs, making him paranoid.
He is best known for his hit singles Ponmo, Feel Good, and KPK (Ko Por Ke) with Rexxie which was nominated 3 times for The Headies awards 2022.
