Breaking: Wanted Instagram big boy ‘Killaboi’ finally arrested

Popular Instagram Influencer, Nnanyereugo Benjamin Best, popularly known as Killaboi has now been arrested in Sierra Leone.

Recall Dockaysworld earlier reported that the Lagos State Police had declared the real estate agent wanted for the alleged murder of his girlfriend, Augusta, a student of Lead City University, Ibadan.

The incident, which took place on July 13, 2023, saw Best accused of fatally stabbing 21-year-old Augusta Onuwabhagbe Osedion during a heated argument at his residence in Oral Estate, Ajah.

After committing the crime, Best reportedly managed to obtain a Sierra Leonean passport and adopted the alias Kanu Princeton Samuel before fleeing Nigeria on July 28.

His photograph was widely circulated on social media platforms to aid in his identification.

Someone in Sierra Leone recognized the suspect and reached out to the victim’s mother through social media.

The mother then enlisted the assistance of prominent lawyer Mr. Femi Falana (SAN), who facilitated communication with Sierra Leonean law enforcement authorities.

Following confirmation of Best’s escape from Nigeria, the Lagos Police Commissioner, Mr. Idowu Ohonbunwa, directed the state police command to declare him wanted on October 10, 2023.

Subsequently, Sierra Leonean police initiated a search for Nnanyereugo Benjamin Best, and the victim’s family dispatched a representative to collaborate with the authorities.

Best was eventually arrested on Friday, October 20, at a club in Freetown and is currently in custody, awaiting extradition proceedings.
