Mr Ibu: There’s no money in Nollywood – Comedian Akpororo tells Very Dark Man
Comedian Akpororo has told Very Dark Man to stop calling out Nigerian actors over the health crisis of Mr Ibu saying there's no money in Nollywood
Popular comedian Akpororo has responded to VeryDarkMan’s video, in which he criticized the Nigerian movie industry, Nollywood.
Ever since Mr. Ibu’s video, VeryDarkMan has been vocal about Nollywood’s issues, particularly highlighting its lack of structure and alleged reluctance to support fellow actors.
Akpororo, in his response, suggested that VeryDarkMan should redirect his critique away from Nollywood, as he argued that there is minimal financial gain in the industry.
Instead, he pointed fingers at their female counterparts, who, according to him, quickly invest in luxurious items after starring in just one movie, creating a misleading impression of wealth within the entire industry.
Furthermore, Akpororo emphasized the urgent need for structural improvements within Nollywood.
He also called out the Enugu state governor, Mr. Ibu’s home state, urging him to watch the video and extend a helping hand to the renowned thespian and others in the industry.
