Internet sensation, Mathew Precious Kelechi, and Amakor Johnson popularly known as Happie Boys have reportedly been deported back to Nigeria.

The duo came into the limelight after they were sacked from their job as security guards at an eatery in Aba for dancing while on duty.

They were granted scholarships by Omega Power Ministries pastor, Chinyere Chibuzor to study in Cyprus.

However, the boys made a video accusing the pastor of abandoning them in Cyprus, hence they dropped out of school.

Reacting to the video, Pastor Chibuzor said he had advised them to return to Nigeria due to the economic challenges caused by fluctuations in exchange rates.

But they said they would not return.

Earlier, this month they were arrested and kept in an underground prison over alleged involvement in internet fraud.

They have now been deported to Nigeria and they are presently in an hotel in Utako, Abuja.

See how Nigerians are reacting to the Happie Boys deportation:

Sir David Bent wrote:

Happie Boys hold the GWR for the fastest Karma/retribution. It hit them so hard before they could even blink. Plus, I’d be disappointed if any Nigerian gives them a dime when they come up with another sob story. They don’t deserve it and should be allow to wallow in the consequences of their actions.

Sweet Topensy:

The happie boys deserves a second chance. We should see them as the prodigal sons that are back home. They need all the love they can get. We should rally round them. When are we going to start contributing to their rehabilitation. Who is in charge? They need out help

Social Media critic, Daniel Regha wrote:

Nigerians shouldn’t assist Happie Boys; They should pay for their mistakes & sort themselves out. We as a people need to stop rewarding bad behaviour, it’s becoming a norm. These people had the opportunity to better their lives abroad, but chose to be ungrateful. Their deportation is simply karma.
