Bayelsa 2023: INEC Adjourns Collation of Results

The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), has adjourned collation of the election results in the Bayelsa state gubernatorial election that was held on November 11, 2023.

The decision was disclosed by the state Returning Officer for the election and Vice Chancellor of the Federal University of Technology, Prof. Faruq Kuta, who adjourned the election till 3 p.m. today.

The decision was announced after the collation of results from three of the eight local government areas in Bayelsa state.

Meanwhile, the returning officer stated that the results of the remaining local government areas in the state are being expected.
