Popular Nigerian musician, Adekunle Gold has received harsh criticism for the soundtrack of a Hollywood movie, The Book of Clarence produced by American rapper, Jay Z, which he featured in.

The singer posted a trailer for the movie on his official Instagram page, which has drawn a lot of criticism from online users who label it blasphemous and belittle the singer.

Adekunle Gold and his fellow Nigerian musician, Yemi Alade will be making their debut in The Book of Clarence movie which is set to take the world by storm.

The much-anticipated movie with a soundtrack is expected to feature the two Nigerian musicians in addition to international musicians like Lil Wayne, Jay Z, Kid Cudi, Jorja Smith, Shabba Ranks, and more.

Sharing the trailer, Adekunle wrote:
