Kaduna Bombing: Senators donate December salaries to victims

The 109 senators of the Federal Republic of Nigeria have donated their December salaries to the victims of the tragic bombing incident in Kaduna State

  • The Senate have also confirmed that the donated funds would be forwarded to the state governor

The 109 senators of the Federal Republic of Nigeria have donated their December salaries to the victims of the bombing incident that took place in Kaduna last Sunday.

The deputy president of the Senate, Senator Barau I. Jibrin, disclosed this earlier today at the Kaduna State Government House when he led a group of Senate members to the state.

According to a statement by Senator Barau’s Special Adviser Media and Publicity, Ismail Mudashir, it was announced that the money would be sent to the state governor for due delivery to the victims.

Recall it was reported that there was a drone bombing in Tudun Biri, Igabi Local Government Area of the Kaduna State last week, leading to the death of at least 120 innocent residents who were celebrating an Islamic festival.
