Popular Nigerian activist Martins Vincent Otse, popularly known as Verydarkman has finally been released by the Nigerian police force, Dockaysworld can confirm.
The activist who had been in custody for about a week had been taken in over alleged petitions by actress Tonto Dikeh and producer Samklef.
Activist Sowore had however alleged that the matter was bigger than that as he said VDM was being held longer because he accused the Police DIGs of sleeping with crossdresser Bobrisky.
Sowore has now announced the release of the influence this evening in Abuja.
He wrote:
“Good news on Easter Sunday! @thatverydarkman is now free! Thanks for all your efforts to ensure oppression will not always win!”
Fellow activist and lawyer Deji Adeyanju was amongst a group of people who went in person to secure the activist’s release.
Deji wrote:
“After 5 days of back and forth, we have secured VDM’s release. Thank you to everyone that made this happen especially SOWORE, Kefiano & VDM’s wonderful lawyers.”
