Following Mohbad’s demise, there has been a call from various quarters, including Mohbad’s father, for a DNA test to ascertain the paternity of Liam, his son.

Omawunmi had previously stated her refusal to conduct a DNA test for her son, citing her own reasons and asserting her rights.

This stance has drawn criticism from some, including actress Sarah Martins, who referred to Omowunmi as a senseless widow, questioning her reluctance to undergo the DNA test.
