Odion Jude Ighalo is a professional football player from Nigeria. He was born on the 16th of June 1989 in the busy neighborhood of Ajegunle, Lagos.

He was raised alongside his brother, Daniel Ighalo by his father Paul Ighalo and his mother, Martina Ighalo.

Ighalo’s football career started at Nigerian Club Prime and Nigerian Club Julius before he signed his first European contract with Norwegian Club Lyn in 2007.
