Evidence has reportedly been gathered, and his court appearance is anticipated soon.

According to internal reports, Ishaku was detained after failing to offer clear explanations for financial irregularities linked to his administration.

The EFCC’s spokesperson, Dele Oyewale, confirmed the arrest but withheld further details.

This development follows similar allegations involving Yahaya Bello, the former governor of Kogi State, who is also under investigation for misappropriation of N80.2 billion.
