Nigerian Police Officers Accused of Kidnapping, Extorting N470,000

Two siblings have alleged that officers of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Police Command abducted them at gunpoint and extorted N470,000 in Abuja.

The incident reportedly occurred on January 8, 2025, in the Kurudu area near the Army Estate.

The victims claimed they were forced into a gold Toyota Corolla by armed officers, who accused them of being internet fraudsters despite finding no incriminating evidence during a phone search.

According to one of the brothers, they were beaten and compelled to transfer their savings to an OPAY account registered to Sani Musa Enterprises.
