Tinubu sends message to Fubara

President Bola Tinubu has urged Rivers State Governor, Siminalayi Fubara, to continue promoting peace and unity in the state despite the political crisis.

The president gave the advice while congratulating Fubara on his 50th birthday.

Fubara has been at loggerheads with Nyesom Wike, his predecessor and minister of the federal capital territory (FCT), over control of the political structure that got him elected.

Even though President Bola Tinubu has intervened in the crisis, many see the crisis as far from over.

He encouraged Fubara to keep fostering harmony among the people to ensure further progress.

Tinubu wished him continued success, strength, and wisdom in his leadership role.

“I encourage you to continue fostering unity, resolving differences, and creating an atmosphere where progress can flourish for the benefit of all Rivers people,” Tinubu stated.
