Nigerian singer Oludipe Oluwasanmi David, popularly known as Spyro, has taken to Instagram to call out alleged deception among top religious figures.
In his words, he stated:
“Don’t be deceived … the biggest scams and liars are the ones at the top of religious ladders … they perpetrate evil and quote holy books to support their wrongs and then the emotional game and then threats. The deception is on another level. BEWARE OF PEOPLE IN SHINY POSITIONS .”
“In the same vein, people calling me left, right, and center to let it go and I sincerely appreciate every single one of them as they are only after my well-being, but then nothing done till date about it … This is how evil continues to thrive because we keep quiet and the result is the Nigeria we have today.”
“OPPRESSORS DON’T WANT YOU SPEAKING. I once called someone out for wronging me, next day the person started confessing scriptures and in the same vein sending threat messages about releasing sex tapes and how they have a girl claiming she is pregnant for me.”
However, Spyro made it clear that he was unbothered by the threats, responding:
“I sent message back to tell them to release the tapes … I can’t wait to watch the tapes. Jesus boy tape. GOLD. Till date dem never release am o … Rubbish.”
