The Nigerian Police Force, in a statement released on February 4, 2025, by its spokesperson, Muyiwa Adejobi, confirmed that the monarch was arraigned on a three-count charge of conspiracy, assault, and conduct likely to cause a breach of peace.

The court granted Oba Ogunjobi bail while adjourning the case to March 6, 2025, for further proceedings.

The police reaffirmed their commitment to upholding the rule of law and ensuring justice prevails.
