Governor Sule Fires Teachers Commission Officials


Governor Abdullahi Sule has officially removed the chairman and members of the Teachers Service Commission (TSC) due to a job recruitment scandal.

The announcement was made on Friday during the swearing-in of 16 new commissioners at City Hall in Lafia, the state capital.

Governor Sule also stated that an independent body would be set up to re-evaluate the 3,000 teachers who were previously recruited. This process aims to select 1,500 qualified candidates for the job.

The newly appointed commissioners, who were approved by state lawmakers, include:
