Popular Nigerian Pastor, Prophet Joel Ogebe, has publicly rebuked an engaged couple during a sermon at his church, drawing attention to their behaviour.
While ministering, the pastor paused and inquired whether the couple were married or related as siblings.
Upon learning they were engaged and planning to marry soon, Prophet Ogebe strongly condemned their actions, particularly their public display of affection in the church.
The pastor pointed out that, despite being married himself, his wife had never behaved in such a manner as to rest her head on his hand in public.
He expressed concern over the couple’s actions, warning the male partner that, while they were not yet married, they were already displaying such intimacy openly in the church.
He ended his stern warning by questioning, “If you can openly sleep on each other’s hand in church, what might you be doing in secret?”
