The Dangote Petroleum Refinery has reduced the price of petrol once more, setting it at N835 per litre.
This is a drop from the previous N865 per litre.
The new rate came into effect as global crude oil prices continued to fall, going from over $70 to about $64 per barrel in recent weeks.

This latest reduction comes shortly after an earlier cut, when the refinery brought the price down from N880 to N865 per litre.

Despite that previous adjustment, many filling stations did not reduce their pump prices, leaving consumers to pay the same high amount.
The Dangote Refinery, which can process 650,000 barrels of crude oil each day, has been supplying petrol to the Nigerian market and helping to reduce reliance on fuel imports
