The Rivers State Police Command has freed Success Miracle, the wife of Prophet Umueke Miracle, the General Overseer of Dynamic Flame of Fire and Miracle Ministries, after she was allegedly confined by her husband for five days.
The rescue operation took place in the GRA area of Port Harcourt following reports that the pastor had allegedly restricted his wife’s movement over financial disagreements.
According to sources, Success Miracle revealed that since their marriage in 2017, her husband had forbidden her from opening a bank account or having any independent financial control.
In response, she secretly opened an account and started a small business selling water and other items for the ministry’s needs.
Upon discovering this, Prophet Miracle allegedly accused her of stealing from him and running a business under his ministry without his consent, which led to her confinement in their home for several days.
The police intervened following a report by concerned individuals, leading to her release. Prophet Miracle has been invited for questioning as investigations into the matter continue.
Meanwhile, the controversial pastor has also been engaged in a public dispute with activist Omoyele Sowore over claims of miraculous healings.
The confrontation began after Sowore challenged the authenticity of miracles, particularly in cases involving stroke patients.
In response, Prophet Miracle dared Sowore to present a stroke patient for healing, promising to shut down his ministry if he failed.
Sowore, in turn, suggested that Prophet Miracle visit the University of Port Harcourt Teaching Hospital’s stroke ward to heal patients under public scrutiny.
