The All progressive congress (APC) presidential candidate Bola Ahmed Tinubu and people’s Democratic Party (PDP) presidential flag bearer Atiku Abubakar, have met at the Abuja airport recently with smiles and laughter.
This makes the second time both candidates have met coincidentally at the airport and have been jovial and cordial with one another contrary to expectations by many considering their rivalry and bid for the office of the president of Nigeria.
Followers of both parties shared videos of the two candidates conversing idly at the airport lounge to show the need for unity despite being on varying ends of the political spectrum.
Others have however interpreted the encounter to mean that there is no substantial difference between the APC and the PDP, tagging them two sides of the same coin.
Recall that Tinubu recently condemned those who mentioned the name of the Lagos PDP Deputy Governorship candidate Funke Akindele in his presence.
