2023 presidential candidate of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP), Atiku Abubakar is mourning the death of his long-standing ally, Hajia Hadiza Adado.
The former Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) national women leader died on Wednesday night after an illness, in Kano.
She was buried on Thursday morning according to Islamic rites.
The former vice president, Atiku took to his X page to mourn Adado whom he described as a superb team player who made a remarkable impact on his presidential campaign.
He tweeted:
“I am heavily disheartened by the news of the passing of Hajia Hadiza Adado.
“Hajia Hadiza was the Director-General of Women Affairs in my last presidential campaign council and a former Women Leader of the PDP. She was a superb team player who made a remarkable impact on our campaign and the PDP at large.
“My condolences go to her immediate family and the entire body of women agenda influencers in Nigeria.”
She is survived by her husband, Alhaji Yusuf Adado and four children.
