Harris is expected to address the nation later, highlighting her dedication to a smooth transition and unity for all Americans.

Trump’s victory followed his success in key battleground states, including Pennsylvania and Georgia, which ultimately pushed him over the required 270 electoral votes.

The race was marked by close margins and intense campaigning in swing states, which proved decisive in securing Trump’s path back to the presidency.

Senator JD Vance will be Trump’s vice president.

Vance previously served in the United States Marine Corps and wrote the bestselling book “Hillbilly Elegy.”

He was sworn into office as a senator in 2023.

Trump and Vance will be sworn in on January. 20, 2025.
