51-year-old Popular Nigerian gospel singer Sammie Okposo, is dead, Dockaysworld has learnt.
According to a close source, the singer reportedly died after slumping, though full details of his passing are yet to be revealed.
Sammie Okposo (born 30 May 1971) was an international Nigerian gospel artist. He was also a music producer, psalmist, and CEO of Zamar Entertainment.
He released his first album Addicted in 2004.
The singer is best known for his hit song ‘wellu wellu’ and his forays into mainstream music through collaborations with secular artistes.
Recall that the Niger Delta musician had narrowly escaped death some years ago when the propeller shaft of his car pulled off while on motion.
He was embroiled in cheating scandals but had apologized for his deeds.
