Popular veteran Nollywood actress Cynthia Okereke is dead, Dockaysworld has learnt.
This was disclosed by fellow actor and filmmaker J.C. Ikechukwu who stated that she died the night before, on July 11th, 2023.
The filmmaker took to his Twitter page to narrate how he was on the verge of hiring her a ticket abroad when he was informed of her passing the night before.

He lamented the nature of life and how she’d seemingly suddenly died despite being well for the most part of their relationship.
Fans and followers have begun to express their sadness and grief over the passing of the legend who brought joy to many households.

The fact that I was about to pay for your flight ticket to come finish what we started only to here you went to be with Lord just last night is one of the toughest things l’ve ever had to deal with in recent times. I pray l’m able to recover from this shock. Life is really just a mist. One minute you have it, the next you don’t.
For the more than 20 years that I’ve known you, you’ve been such an amazing, decent and lovely soul to be around. I never imagined you’d exit so unceremoniously. Words fail me.
