Celebrity barman Paschal Okechukwu popularly known as Cubana Chief Priest has opened up about his ongoing challenges with securing a United States visa.
Speaking during an interview on Channels TV’s Rubbin Minds, the 43-year-old shared that errors made during his initial visa application process continue to affect his efforts to gain access to the country.
Cubana explained that someone else filled out his application form when he was younger, leading to mistakes that have since become recurring issues during visa interviews.
Despite numerous attempts to resolve the matter, the errors persist in the system, preventing him from obtaining the visa.
The former general manager of Cubana Groups expressed his deep desire to experience life in the US, describing it as a dream he has long hoped to achieve.
Inspired by stories from his close friend, Afrobeats superstar Davido, about the lifestyle in America, Cubana said he remains optimistic about eventually gaining entry into the country.
“I have been denied access to America. If I had a visa to enter Yankee today it would be a dream come true. Somebody filled my form when I was much younger and was trying to get into America. Some mistakes were coming up during interviews. And I think they have it on their system. Anytime I came it kept popping up,” he said.
“David tells me about America and the lifestyle. It is something I want to experience. I hope very soon I am going to get access to get into Yankee.”
Cubana Chief Priest left Cubana Groups in September 2020 to establish his own business, Club Xhrine, located in Owerri, Imo State.
He is married to Angel Gold Okechukwu and they have two sons.
