Dammy Krane took to social media to share a video, mocking Davido’s Grammy miss, further fueling their ongoing dispute.
The tension between Dammy Krane and Davido dates back to 2017, when they collaborated on the song “Pere.”
Dammy Krane has since accused Davido of failing to compensate him for his contributions to the track.
In October 2023, Dammy Krane publicly claimed that Davido owed him money for the collaboration, alleging that the debt had hindered his ability to pay his daughter’s school fees.
Davido refuted these allegations, asserting that he had not received payment for his contributions to Dammy Krane’s song.
The dispute escalated in May 2024 when Dammy Krane shared a video of Davido in a vulnerable moment, further mocking him.
In response, Davido issued a warning to Dammy Krane, advising him to desist from such actions to avoid further conflict.
In September 2024, Dammy Krane petitioned the Inspector General of Police, demanding $500,000 from Davido for unpaid fees related to their collaboration.
He claimed that despite multiple attempts to resolve the issue amicably, Davido had failed to fulfill his financial obligations.
The recent Grammy incident has added another layer to their ongoing feud, with Dammy Krane using Davido’s lack of an award as fodder for mockery.
As of now, Davido has not publicly responded to this latest provocation.
