The National Universities Commission (NUC) in Nigeria is getting ready to introduce 12 new courses into the university system.

These new areas of study will be added to the existing university structure under the Core Curriculum and Minimum Academic Standards (CCMAS).

The NUC, which is in charge of monitoring and approving university programmes in Nigeria, will guide the rollout of these courses across institutions in the country.
