A number of students of Federal Government Girls College (FGGC), Sagamu, Ogun state, have made a humanoid robot named Okikiola-Sagamu A.K.A Kiki-Saggy.
The students had presented the contraption to the Federal Ministry of Education, in Abuja
Receiving the students the Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Education, Andrew David Adejo lauded the initiative and called on students to seek innovations that make life easier for all.
Kiki Saggy can move some distance, stretch hand, shakes hands and interact with people.
While presenting it, they said the 6 feet height robot, with 60kg weight had a maximum speed of 10 km/hr.
They said it was a vision of the school’s Principal and Director, Dr Mrs Muyibat Olodo, who had flair for technology, most especially, coding Robotics and Artificial intelligence.
