FirstBank has announced a scheduled system maintenance set to take place on Sunday, April 13, 2025, from 12:30 a.m. to 9:00 a.m. (WAT).
During the maintenance window, card transactions on ATMs, POS terminals, and web platforms will be temporarily unavailable.
Agency Banking POS terminals and new user enrollment on FirstMobile and USSD will also be affected.
However, customers will still be able to access existing services on FirstMobile, USSD, and FirstOnline.
Non-card transactions at agent locations will also remain available.
FirstBank apologized for any inconvenience this may cause and appreciates customers’ patience as it works towards improved service quality.
The bank also reminded customers to keep their records up to date by visiting any nearby branch.
Importantly, FirstBank reiterated that it will never ask for confidential banking details such as online banking passwords, token responses, card numbers, or ATM PINs.
Customers are urged to report any suspicious calls.
