Former Sports Minister Solomon Dalung has disclosed that the cabals around President Bola Tinubu are smarter, more dangerous and powerful than those around former President Muhammadu Buhari.
Dalung revealed this while speaking on Channels TV’s Politics Today on Tuesday evening.
Dalung explained that during Buhari’s time, the people influencing him were not very educated.
However, Tinubu’s cabals are skilled, educated, and know how to control power.
Channels TV reports that Dalung cited the capacity of members of the cabals around Tinubu to manipulate power, build barricades around the president, and stifle information and human traffic from the president.
He said:
”Muhammadu Buhari was a stranger in his own government and that government was run jointly by the current president because he nominated about 5 ministers .’
”President Bola Tinubu’s cabal is made up of sophisticated and ambitious people who have a very long history in power. They are experienced, and they have a sound knowledge of what power is.”
But the Presidency has repeatedly dismissed rumours of cabals in Aso Rock, maintaining that President Bola Tinubu is hundred per cent in charge of the governance of the country.
