The presidential candidate of the all progressive congress (APC) Bola Ahmed Tinubu, has suffered a blunder when he almost prayed for the opposition party PDP, instead of his’.
The candidate who took the podium at his campaign flag off in Plateau state today, made the gaffe while trying to say a prayer for a nation and for his party.
Tinubu had said who had seemingly meant to mention the APC had started with the first two letters of the opposition party, stating “P-D-“ before he course corrected and said the APC.
He had them repeated his party name multiple times as if to make up for the earlier blunder.
The APC candidate has made similar gaffes in the past though his supporters have claimed he’s speaking in parables and not being literal as portrayed.
Tinubu’s walk to the podium has also been criticized as he seemed wobbly and almost fell on the way.
Tinibu’s error comes less than a day after people claimed there was no difference between himself and the PDP candidate Atiku, due to their meeting at the airport.
