On Thursday, May 9, Rivers State Governor, Siminalayi Fubara, made a dramatic entrance at the Rivers State House of Assembly complex in Port Harcourt.
A clip shared by Channels TV captured the moment by the state governor who made no mention of speculations about his proposed removal.
The video depicted Fubara and his entourage arriving at the Assembly premises, where he asserted his presence as the state’s governor.
Following a brief three-minute walk around the area, he departed.
Recall the state opposition, the All Progressives Congress directed its lawmakers to begin impeachment procedings against the Governor. The call was subsequently backed by the state local government chairmen who accused Fubara of witholding funds.
