Popular Nollywood actor Deyemi Okanlawon, has apologized for his comments following the victory of Thaddeus Attah of the Labour Party (LP) over singer Banky W.
Deyemi had written an open letter to Attah who won the seat of Eti-Osa Federal Constituency for the House of Representatives.
The actor apologized for his choice of words in seeking for an opportunity to interview the lawmaker elect about his plans for his constituency.
He further explained that he meant no disrespect even though he voted for Banky W and simply wanted to ensure the local government got the best.
Many had dragged the actor for not congratulating Attah and not paying attention while he’d been campaigning with Peter Obi and others.
