Life coach and relationship expert Solomon Buchi has queried women who take offense to behaving properly on their first meeting with prospective in laws.
Solomon who was reacting to the trending conversation on the teachings of a clergy woman advising proper behavior when meeting in laws for the first time, pondered why some women could prepare appropriately for an interview but declined doing so for their husband’s family.
According to the coach, it was important to learn about the cultures of one’s partners so one could adequately prepare and show respect when meeting them.
He narrated how he’d learnt to prostrate for his wife’s family as she is from a Yoruba family while he is an Igbo man.
He cautioned others to learn to be more accepting and ready for change.
