Popular Nigerian Broadcast journalist and TV host Frank Edoho, has called out Igbo politicians for not supporting themselves in their bid for presidency.
The ‘who wants to be a millionaire’ host took to his Twitter page to lament the lack of unity amongst the south easterners as he said the other ethnic groups are more United.
According to him igbo people were sabotaging their kin in their bid to presidency instead of aiding them.
He tweeted:
Igbo politicians will never stop baffling me. You have the rare opportunity of one of your kin being President but instead of supporting and clamoring for him like Yoruba and Hausa people do with their candidates, you look for ways to disrupt and thwart him!
Tufia Kwa!
A twitter user had said :
“Stick to TV presenting and layering. Or go and learn politics. There is no rare opportunity anywhere, there is just noise. Noise doesn’t win elections alliances does”
Frank Replied:
My dear numbskull, I am a seasoned broadcaster, trained by the FRCN as an announcer, news reader, presenter, commentator and reporter. Analyzing the political landscape was all we did on a daily basis for years, so I AM qualified.
You on the other hand, are just a veteran nitwit!
People have raised speculations about the tweet, saying that it concerns Anambra state Governor Chukwuma Soludo who seemingly attacked the labour party presidential candidate Peter Obi and said he had no chance of winning.
