Imo Election: INEC Declares Uzodinma Winner with 540,308 votes
INEC has announced APC's Hope Uzodinma Winner of the governorship election that took place on Saturday in Imo state
The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has declared the gubernatorial candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Hope Uzodinma the winner of Saturday’s off-cycle election in Imo State.
According to the state collation and returning officer of INEC, Abayomi Fasina, the APC candidate, Uzodinma garnered 540,308 votes.
Meanwhile, the governorship candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Senator Samuel Anyanwu, who came second garnered 71,503 votes.
