Ex-CBN Governor, Godwin Emefiele has been granted a N300 million bail by a High Court in Maitama, Abuja with an order to begin a full trial on the six charges against him on November 28.
The former Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria, Mr. Godwin Emefiele, has been granted a three hundred million naira (N300 million) bail.
The ruling was declared by Justice Hamza Muazu of a High Court in Maitama, Abuja, who also ordered the Ex-CBN governor to produce two guarantors, who must be resident within the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja, and who have landed property within the Maitama district.
The Court arranged November 28 to begin a full-blown hearing on the six-count charge the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission indicted the defendant for.
Dockaysworld recalls that the court had earlier ordered Emefiele to submit all his travel documents to the court’s registrar.
