Popular Kannywood actor and director, Aminu Bono has passed away on Monday evening as he reportedly collapsed and rushed to the hospital, where he was confirmed dead
Popular Kannywood actor and director, Aminu Bono has passed away.
The actor’s colleague, Babangida Bangis, confirmed that Aminu died on Monday evening and that the deceased would be buried today according to Muslim traditions.
According to his colleague, the actor reportedly collapsed and was rushed to the hospital where the doctors confirmed his death.
Aminu has produced many movies including ‘Dan Gwamna’, ‘Nasamo Me Kahina’, ‘Alaqa’, ‘Manyan Mata’, and ‘Daukaka’.
The late actor was born in Kano state, where he made his debut in the Kannywood film industry with ‘Agola’, a movie he directed and produced in 2017.
Aminu is said to be part of the few directors who also featured actively as actors in the Hausa film industry, which is referred to as Kannywood.
