Infamous Kidnap kingpin Chukwudimeme Onwuamadike, alias Evans, has been sentenced to 21 years imprisonment by the court in Lagos State.
In a ruling by Ikeja Special Offences Court, on Monday, Justice Oluwatoyin Taiwo sentenced the convicted kingpin and his accomplice, Victor Aduba, for kidnapping a businessman, Sylvanus Ahamonou Hafia, and collecting $420,000 as ransom from his family.
The victim was said to have been kidnapped on June 23, 2014, at Kara Street, Amuwo Odofin in Lagos.
