Biography

Oluwatobiloba Daniel Anidugbe, known on stage as Kizz Daniel was born on May 1, 1994, in Abeokuta, Ogun State.

Kizz Daniel was raised in Abeokuta North Local Government and discovered his singing talent at the very young age of 7 as a chorister in his local church.

Education

He received his primary school education at Ogun International Montessori Nursery and continued to Abeokuta Grammar School for his secondary education.

He enrolled in the Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta (FUNAAB) where he pursued a degree in Water Resources Management and Agrometeorology (Water Engineering) and successfully graduated in 2013.

Family

He is the second in a family of five children born to his parents Mr and Mrs Kolawole Uthman Anidugbe.

Father

His father Mr Kolawole Uthman Anidugbe, was a devoted Christian and lecturer in Ogun State.

Unfortunately, Kizz Daniel’s father passed away in May 2015.

His mother Mrs. Anuidugbe was also a steadfast Christian who was largely supportive of his music career.

Siblings

Kizz Daniel has 4 siblings, Toluwalope Sophie Anidugbe, Mofoluwato Uthman Anidugbe, and two other younger siblings.

Sister

His sister Sophie Anidugbe is a Radio Presenter with COOL FM in Kano State; she hosts programs such as Good Morning Nigeria and others.

Not much is known about his other siblings.

Music Career

Kizz Daniel started writing songs at the age of 7 after joining his dad’s church choir to hone his vocal talent.

At 13, he was already composing his personal songs.

While studying at FUNAAB, Vado was fortunate to meet JahBless, who became his unofficial manager and encouraged him to pursue his music career.

JahBless, who was already a popular music producer and singer, helped Kizz become better at singing and songwriting.

After completing his degree, Kizz began recording cover songs and uploading them to YouTube.

Kizz Daniel was discovered by G-WorldWide Entertainment owner Emperor Geezy, who signed him to his record label.

His first song, which is also his breakthrough song, is ‘Woju‘. He released it in 2014 under the G-Worldwide record label.

Under the label, Kizz Daniel released his first studio album titled ‘New Era‘, in May 2016, and off the album, the track ‘Woju’, became a major hit.

Things took an ugly turn in 2017 after Kizz Daniel had a fallout with his former record Label boss Emperor Geezy.

This led to a series of lawsuits against the singer which ultimately led to him changing his name.

After leaving his former Label, Kizz Daniel created his own record label ‘FLYBOY I.N.C‘ in 2017.

In June 2020, Kizz Daniel signed a music contract with Empire, an American distribution company and record label.

He released his second studio album titled ‘No Bad Songz’ under Fly boy inc.

Off this album, the chart-topping hit song ‘One Ticket‘ featuring Davido became a commercial success.

He released his third studio album ‘King of Love‘ in 2020 and 2 other albums since then.
