Mojisola Meranda, the Speaker of the Lagos State House of Assembly, has resigned after being in office for only 38 days.
Her resignation happened just two days after other members of the Assembly had shown their support for her leadership.
The Lagos State Assembly has been facing problems since the former Speaker, Mudashiru Obasa, was removed from his position.
