Governor Godwin Obaseki has ordered the demolition of houses in Benin city, Edo state, causing pushback from the homeowners who are powerless before the government.
Dockaysworld gathered that the demolition exercise began in Obagie N’EVBUOSA, Okoroma, and its environs in Benin City.
According to the government, the people encroached on the state government land though the owners of the houses have claimed it does not belong to the government.
