The Police have reportedly arrested a man identified as John Kiama Wambua in Kenya after discovering the mutilated remains of his wife in a backpack during a routine patrol in Huruma, a district east of Nairobi.
The 29-Year-Old was stopped by officers just before dawn, who, suspecting illegal activity, searched 
his bag.
What they found shocked them—a dismembered body.
Wambua later confessed that the remains belonged to his 19-year-old wife, Joy Fridah Munani, according to a statement by the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI).
The DCI revealed that Wambua appeared “unperturbed” by the officers’ gruesome discovery.
After further interrogation, he led police to his home, where they found a blood-soaked knife, stained clothes, and additional body parts hidden under a bed.
The DCI condemned the crime as “heinous” and confirmed that Wambua will face murder charges in court.
