A Nigerian man has gone viral in video after visiting a tricycle shop and was informed about the price of a brand new one.
In a TikTok video that @unclenasco posted, the man claimed to have gone to the store to act as a guarantor for someone wishing to buy at a hire-purchase.
He lamented that it is a pity that tricycle is now beyond the reach of the common man.
The man wrote…
“Keke is now sold for 2.6 Million Nigerian Naira and 1 dollar is now 1,800 Naira. Things are getting worse every hour of the day. Is this how we are going to continue?”
The man also claimed that the price surge could be because of the scarcity of US Dollars.
